Director of Music and Organist 
​ Candace "Candy" Williams
​Director of Music and Organist for Wilmington’s Windermere Presbyterian Church and a private teacher of piano and organ. She holds a B.A. in organ performance from Western Illinois University and a Master of Music in performance (organ, piano and harpsichord) from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, a student of Marianne Webb. She continued study in organ with Dale Peters and piano with Harold Heiberg at the University of North Texas and piano in Graz, Austria. Candy began her avocation and career playing for church services at the age of 7. She has been organist and music director over 60 years now, having served a wide variety of denominations and worship styles.

I will begin my fifth year as director for Windermere Presbyterian Church in the fall. It's the most rewarding job I have ever had. I am a graduate of Campbell University in Early Childhood Education. I am happily married to my husband James and we have three sons. Our oldest son Oliver is a junior at East Carolina University, Matton, our middle son is a senior that is homeschooled, and our youngest Miles is a sophomore at New Hanover High School. All my guys are accomplished surfers.
Family is very important to me and so is my faith.

Fran King
After working many years in the printing profession, Fran became the secretary at Windermere in May of 2010. She grew up in Birmingham, Alabama (always loyal to Crimson Tide) but considers Wilmington home. Mother of three daughters and grandmother to three grandsons
​and two granddaughters.
