John Pflug, Jr.
John began to serve as Windermere's pastor in September of 2015. Before being called to North Carolina he lived in Texas. He earned a BA from Texas Lutheran University which is where he met Brittany. After college they were married and John entered, and eventually graduated from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary earning a MDiv. Before coming to Windermere, John served as pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Winnsboro Texas, where he also served as the town's mayor. Together John and Brittany have three children; Emma, Kilaeah, and Zayne. When he is not at Windermere John enjoys the beach, the gym, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and spending time with his family. Children, Youth and Family Director Kayla Orrell From an early age, Kayla felt a call to serve the Lord through Children’s ministry and since has wholeheartedly devoted her entire life to working with children. Pursuing this call Kayla obtained her B.S. from Liberty University in 2023 majoring in Next Generation Ministries. Kayla has a passion for discipleship and Christian education and currently serves as the Children’s, Youth, and Families director in addition to teaching prekindergarten at Pine Valley Baptist Preschool. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors, and studying the Bible. |
Director of Music and Organist
Candace "Candy" Williams
Director of Music and Organist for Wilmington’s Windermere Presbyterian Church and a private teacher of piano and organ. She holds a B.A. in organ performance from Western Illinois University and a Master of Music in performance (organ, piano and harpsichord) from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, a student of Marianne Webb. She continued study in organ with Dale Peters and piano with Harold Heiberg at the University of North Texas and piano in Graz, Austria. Candy began her avocation and career playing for church services at the age of 7. She has been organist and music director over 60 years now, having served a wide variety of denominations and worship styles.

Fran King
After working many years in the printing profession, Fran became the secretary at Windermere in May of 2010. She grew up in Birmingham, Alabama (always loyal to Crimson Tide) but considers Wilmington home. Mother of three daughters and grandmother to three grandsons
